What is Respondus Lockdown Browser?

Respondus Lockdown Browser is a proprietary web browser designed to ensure that online or remote exams are free from cheating.

When using LockDown Browser, the test is full-screen and can’t be minimized. Students can’t switch to other apps or do anything on the computer other than taking the remote TEAS exam. 

There are specific system requirements for using the Respondus Lockdown Browser and the user will have to download the software onto their computer or iPad prior to the exam.  It will be very important to perform the TEAS dry run prior to your proctored exam to get Respondus set up.
