Only TEAS at ATI exams (at-home exams proctored by ATI) are scheduled in Central Time. ATI’s proctors are based in Kansas City, so every TEAS at ATI start time, testing window, and confirmation email uses Central Time (CT). If you live in another time zone, convert your start time before exam day.
This is one of the most common reasons students miss their exam. A 9:00 a.m. CT exam starts at 10:00 a.m. Eastern, 8:00 a.m. Mountain, and 7:00 a.m. Pacific. Use a time zone converter to double-check.
Converting from Central Time
- Eastern: add 1 hour
- Mountain: subtract 1 hour (Arizona: see note below)
- Pacific: subtract 2 hours
- Alaska: subtract 3 hours
- Hawaii: subtract 4 hours during Daylight Saving Time, 5 hours the rest of the year
Arizona (except the Navajo Nation) and Hawaii do not observe Daylight Saving Time. Most of Arizona is 2 hours behind Central Time in summer and 1 hour behind in winter. Testing from outside the United States? Use the converter link above.
Other exam types
If you registered for a TEAS Online at Institution, TEAS at Institution (in person), or TEAS at PSI exam, your start time is shown in your school’s or testing center’s local time zone. You only need to convert if you are testing remotely from a different time zone than your school. Chamberlain University applicants: your exam is proctored by ATI, so it is also scheduled in Central Time.
