What should I do if MAC asks me to install "Rosetta"?

Respondus Lockdown Browser requires Rosetta to be compatible with some Mac devices

Quick Fix

  • If your Mac is prompting you to install "Rosetta", when trying to install Respondus, you will need to install Rosetta first, then download Respondus
    • It means that you have a newer processor made by Apple. Rosetta allows programs created for Intel based Macs to run on the ones with the newer Apple chips.
    • To install Rosetta follow the prompt on your screen or use this link: https://support.apple.com/en-us/102527
