Error 1020 means the ATI website blocked your connection before the page loaded. It is almost always a location issue: ATI products are generally available only from inside the United States, and a connection that appears to come from another country is refused.
How to fix it
- Turn off your VPN. If you must use one, set its location to the United States. How do I see if I am using a VPN?
- Check your network. Some school, employer, and hotel networks route traffic through servers in other countries. Try your home Wi-Fi or a phone hotspot.
- Reload the page after changing your connection.
Outside the U.S.? ATI products, including remote proctored TEAS exams, generally cannot be accessed from outside the country. Contact your school about testing options.

Have ready: the exact error code, what you were trying to open, your browser and device, and a screenshot if you can.
