How to create your ATI account for Chamberlain University TEAS
Every Chamberlain University applicant needs an ATI student account, whether you are taking the ATI TEAS® for Chamberlain or sending an existing TEAS score. Creating the account takes a few minutes, but two details matter more than the rest: the name you enter and the school you select. Get both right and your Respondus Dry Run and your TEAS results will land where they should.
- Create your account
- Enter your name exactly as it appears on your ID
- Select Chamberlain U TEAS as your school
- Already have an ATI account? Update your institution
Two things to get right
- Your first and last name must match your government-issued photo ID and your Chamberlain TEAS registration. The proctor compares your ID to your ATI account on exam day, and your results are matched to your Chamberlain application by name. A mismatch can keep you from testing or delay your score.
- Select “Chamberlain U TEAS” as your school — not a Chamberlain campus or program. Choosing Chamberlain U TEAS is what places the Respondus Dry Run in your account and routes your TEAS results to Chamberlain. Entries such as “Chamberlain U BSN-OL” or “Chamberlain U Irwindale BSN” will not.
Step 1: Create your account
- Go to www.atitesting.com/login in Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.
- Click Create an Account.
- Complete the form. You will be asked for your name, a username, your email address, mobile number, the school you plan to attend, a password, and your billing address.

Use an email address you check regularly. Your exam confirmation, reminders, and TEAS results all go to the email on your ATI account.
Step 2: Enter your name exactly as it appears on your ID
In the First Name and Last Name fields, type your legal first and last name exactly as printed on the government-issued photo ID you will show the proctor — the same name you used on your Chamberlain TEAS registration. Do not use a nickname, initials, or a shortened form.
- ID says Katherine — enter Katherine, not Katie or Kate.
- ID has a hyphenated or two-part last name — enter it the same way, including the hyphen or space.
- Recently changed your name? Use the name on the ID you will present on exam day.

Step 3: Select Chamberlain U TEAS as your school
- In the field labeled Select the school you are enrolled in or plan to attend, start typing Chamberlain.
- Several Chamberlain entries will appear. Scroll to and click Chamberlain U TEAS.
- Finish the rest of the form, then click Create an Account.
School field – choose Chamberlain U TEAS, not a campus or program

Only Chamberlain U TEAS works. Do not select a Chamberlain campus or program (for example, Chamberlain U BSN-OL, Chamberlain U Irwindale BSN, or Chamberlain CON APRN), even if it matches the campus you are applying to. Chamberlain U TEAS is the entry that loads your Respondus Dry Run and sends your results to Chamberlain admissions.
Once your account is created, sign in and click MY ATI, then the Assessments tab. You should see the Remote Proctoring Dry Run card. If you are taking the TEAS for Chamberlain, continue with the TEAS for Chamberlain University Applicants Quickstart Guide.
Step 4: Already have an ATI account? Update your institution
If you created an ATI account in the past — for practice tests, a previous TEAS, or another school — do not create a second account. Sign in to your existing account and change your institution to Chamberlain U TEAS:
- Go to www.atitesting.com/login and sign in.
- Click Profile in the top menu, then the Institution tab.
- Click Edit, choose Chamberlain U TEAS, and click Save.
Profile › Institution tab

Institution tab in edit mode – choose Chamberlain U TEAS and click Save

While you are in your Profile, confirm that your first and last name match your photo ID. If they don’t, update them before exam day. If you already have a TEAS score and are sending it to Chamberlain, see How to send an existing TEAS score to Chamberlain University.
Frequently asked questions
I created my account with a nickname or my name is misspelled. How do I fix it?
You cannot edit your first or last name yourself; it must be updated by support with documentation. Contact the Chamberlain TEAS support team (below) at least 48 hours before your exam date with your username, the current name on the account, your correct name, and a photo of your government-issued ID (black out the ID number; never send a Social Security number).
I picked a Chamberlain campus instead of Chamberlain U TEAS. What now?
Sign in, click Profile, then the Institution tab, click Edit, and change it to Chamberlain U TEAS. The Respondus Dry Run should appear under MY ATI › Assessments once the change is saved.
I don’t see the Remote Proctoring Dry Run in my account.
Check that your institution is set to Chamberlain U TEAS (Step 4). If it is and the Dry Run still does not appear, click Add Product on the Assessments tab and enter ID 18904477 with the password respondus.
I have two ATI accounts. Which one should I use?
Use the account whose name matches your ID and, if you have already taken the TEAS, the account that holds your score. Contact Chamberlain TEAS support if you are unsure which account to keep.
